Drawings alone do not provide the manufacturer and contractor with all of the information required to manufacture and install a BHS. Along with the detailed drawings, CAGE produces specifications for baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges with gate and ground support as well as aircraft parking. The specification provides the manufacturers and installers with specific performance criteria and standardized material and component requirements.
With a commitment to energy efficiency, all specifications are individually developed for each project in industry standard CSI format and conform to the specific needs of the project. These specifications provide baseline information for use in standardizing the bidding process and for managing the construction phase to ensure contractors build to the desire requirements for each project.
CAGE is also fully versed in addressing TSA requirements for processing pre-design, schematic and detailed design documents. These documents include preliminary and preferred alternative analysis reports, basis of design reports, specifications, configuration management plans and contingency plans.
