Our designers use dynamic simulation modeling to design BHS systems which meet airport operating requirements. By validating the systems operational capability, designers can ensure that the system will meet current and future load requirements.
During the Conceptual Design (CD) phase, CAGE provides high-level (static) flow-based modeling for the TSA to determine average baggage time in system as well as to refine equipment and staffing requirements. However, at the start of the Detailed Design phase and once the preferred Checked Baggage Inspection Systems (CBIS) has been identified, detailed visual simulation modeling is required.
